Unfolding Landscapes | Paysages mouvants | مناظر متحركة
A traveling program bridging contemporary art and collective heritage from the Lebanese Ministry of Culture's Collection.

BeMA and the British Council Lebanon invite you to the third stop of Unfolding Landscapes at Nabu. It is the first traveling exhibition in Lebanon and part of Ambulant Arts, BeMA's new initiative bringing art directly to communities across the country.

The exhibition sets heritage in dialogue with contemporary perspectives, presenting works from the Ministry of Culture's Collection, under BeMA's care, alongside new commissions by emerging artists and Lebanese University students. Through mobile displays and participatory experiences, it offers a layered reading of Lebanon's landscapes and invites collective reflection.

Conceived as BeMA's mobile museum, it reimagines traditional formats through an adaptable modular display system, decentralizing access to culture and reviving Lebanon's rich heritage.

On view at Nabu Museum, El Heri, until 10 January 2027
Wednesday to Sunday, 9:00 to 18:00. Closed Monday and Tuesday.

Ambulant Arts research, design development, and production were made possible thanks to the generous support of the Robert A. Matta Foundation.
