Virtual tours series 

Aiming to provide an immersive escape during the COVID-19 pandemic, BeMA offered a selected series of virtual group tours, conducted by Mrs. Claudia Audi, a board trustee of the Beirut Museum and docent at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.

Working with the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the tours introduced BeMA’s friends to the diversity and breadth of the MET Museum’s collection, nurturing cross-cultural dialogue and collaboration between the United States of America and Lebanon.

So far, the tours included highlights of the galleries of Islamic Art, Modern and Contemporary Art, and Ancient Near East Art.
